How to Join the Saint Bernard Club of America
To apply for membership into the Saint Bernard Club of America, one must first be a subscriber to our quarterly publication, The Saint Fancier, for consecutive two years. At the end of the two years, the Subscription Chair will send a letter of eligibility with instructions along with a current SBCA application. Please review our Guidelines and Statement of Policy - see link - for further information regarding expectations of all members and those affiliated with the SBCA.
To Subscribe to the Saint Fancier:
By subscribing to The Saint Fancier magazine, the only magazine solely dedicated to our breed, you will have access to the latest information regarding health, research, education, care and maintenance,
legislative issues, specialty shows, obedience trials, working dog events, rescue, kennel ads for puppies and stud service - anything pertinent to the Saint Bernard.
In addition, a copy of our Annual (pictures and pedigrees from the previous years AKC titleholder) as well as a downloadable Membership/Subscriber Directory are included. You'll be able to meet fellow Saint enthusiasts from all over, have the chance to visit and talk with breeders, visit kennels, possibly find a mentor, and get to know our members personally before you apply for membership.
Subscription fees: $45 for US residents ($60 for Priority Mail), $75 for Canadian residents, and $115 for residents of other countries. Please note if your spouse or resident-significant-other is also interested in eventually becoming a member of the SBCA, s/he must also be listed on the form as a subscriber in order to have the two-year subscription period apply toward his or her future membership application.
